Laboratory tests of medical products

The Centre is accredited for conducting tests of medical products for compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on toxicological, sanitary-chemical, microbiological indicators, parameters of physical factors, including compliance with the requirements of ISO 10993 series standards. The Centre is included in the list of authorized organizations that have the right to conduct tests on the assessment of the biological effect of medical products in order to register them within the general market for medical products of the EAEU.

We rely on more than 90 years of work experience, we are the developers of national and interstate technical regulatory acts that establish requirements for conducting products research (including medical products) on safety indicators and research methods.

Highly qualified specialists select samples for subsequent testing in accredited laboratories of the Centre equipped with modern equipment, and also deploy to the place of installation of medical equipment for instrumental measurements, inter alia outside the Republic of Belarus.

Specialists of the Centre, as part of the commissions of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, take part in an inspection assessment of the state of production and quality of manufactured products, actively undergo training abroad, including for further assessment of the health risks of chemicals,  migrating from medical products.

In addition, we inform that the Centre is accredited for the right to carry out educational activities. The International Educational Centre "On Akademicheskaya" conducts continuing education courses on the safety assessment of medical devices in accordance with the requirements of the EAEU, and thematic seminars on regulatory requirements for medical devices within the framework of the EAEU.
