ServicesIAEA National seminar «Radiation and hygiene monitoring and evaluation of occupational exposure of NPP personnel» to be held in Minsk on September 3-6, 2019.
The seminar was organized by the republican unitary enterprise «Scientific practical centre of hygiene» with the support of the state institution «Republican centre for hygiene, epidemiology and public health» within the framework of the IAEA national technical project in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health (№ 991 of 19 August 2019).
IAEA experts: Vladimir Berkovskiy, Igor Gusev and IAEA technical officer Adam Kennedy participate in the seminar. About 40 specialists on radiation protection of personnel of health care organizations, educational institutions, BelNPP, Ministry of Emergency Situations, etc. will participate in the seminar.
The seminar will cover the following issues:
- IAEA basic requirements and ICRP recommendations on radiation protection, monitoring and evaluation of occupational exposure;
- evaluation and provision of occupational exposure radiation protection, individual radiation control and dose evaluation;
- individual dosimetric control and evaluation of occupational radiation doses, etc.
